How do I receive a copy of my GED® transcripts?

  • You will have to call the Department of Education at 302-857-3348.

 How do I enroll in High School Diploma classes?

  • You must be at least 16 years old to register.
  • If under 18 years old you must be withdrawn from high school.
  • You need a signed transcript in a sealed envelope when coming in to register
  • You need to score at least at a 9th grade level to qualify for credit-bearing courses. If it is necessary to build skills up to the 9th grade level you can participate in the ABE program until your skills reach the 9th grade level.
  • Credits from a previous school will transfer.
  • We will make a copy of your Delaware ID.
  • You must first fill out paperwork and then we will give you a date to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
  • After testing you will be notified of your score on the assessment test and a counselor will go over your scores and explain the next steps.

What time are classes?

We conduct classes Monday through Thursday during the following times:

  • 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
  • 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

How do I get a copy of my high school transcript?

  • First, you will need to give our office a call at 302-683-3642 to request a copy of your high school transcript.
  • It will take 3-5 business days to create the transcripts.
  • When you come to pick up the transcripts, it is a $5 charge. You can pay using cash, money order, or check.

I lost my high school diploma, how can I get another copy?

  • There is a cost of $25.00 and the full amount needs to be paid before ordering.
  • It may take 3-6 weeks

How do I sign up for GED classes?

  • You must be 16 years old or older.
  • First you have to register and then you will be given a date to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
  • After testing you will be notified of your score on the assessment test and a counselor will go over your scores and explain the next steps.
  • The GED® test is now online and if you don’t want classes you can go to GED.com and register.

What are your hours of operation?

  • Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Friday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
  • Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

What are your summer hours?

  • Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 4 pm.
  • Our offices will be closed on Fridays during the summer.
