Carpentry

The Carpentry program is a four-year curriculum that equips learners with foundational and advanced carpentry skills. This NCCER curriculum starts with general carpentry training and progresses into specialized areas, including framing and finish carpentry, as well as concrete and form carpentry.

This program follows a unique three-tier approach to Carpentry, designed to meet the U.S. Department of Labor's standards for apprenticeship programs while also supporting shorter programs focused on specific carpentry career pathways.

NCCER Certification

The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is recognized by the construction industry as the standard for training, assessment, certification, and career development for construction and maintenance craft professionals. This program's NCCER curriculum ensures that students receive industry-standard education and credentials.

RTI Compliance

This program fulfills the Related Technical Instruction (RTI) requirements set by the Delaware Department of Labor (DOL) for apprenticeship. The RTI classes offer systematic instruction designed to provide apprentices with the theoretical and technical knowledge essential to their occupation.
