The Plumbing program is a four-year comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare learners for a career as skilled plumbers. This NCCER-certified program covers essential concepts and skills needed for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of various types of pipe systems used in:

  • Residential Buildings
  • Commercial Buildings
  • Public Buildings

The curriculum includes detailed coverage of math, drawings, codes, and other critical knowledge areas to ensure learners are well-prepared for job success. The four-level Plumbing curriculum complies with the U.S. Department of Labor's standards for apprenticeship programs, providing students with industry-standard training and credentials.

 

NCCER Certification

The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is recognized by the construction industry as the standard for training, assessment, certification, and career development for construction and maintenance craft professionals. This program's NCCER curriculum ensures that students receive industry-standard education and credentials.

 

RTI Compliance
This program fulfills the Related Technical Instruction (RTI) requirements set by the Delaware Department of Labor (DOL) for apprenticeship. The RTI classes offer systematic instruction designed to provide apprentices with the theoretical and technical knowledge essential to their occupation.
