ASE Automotive Technician

The ASE Auto Technician program is a comprehensive two-year curriculum designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the automotive industry.
 
This program prepares students to complete the following ASE Certifications:
  • A5 Brakes: 72 hours A4
  • Suspension and Steering: 72 hours A1
  • Engine Repair: 72 hours A6
  • Electrical/Electronic Systems: 72 hours
 

Note: Students must first complete the ASE G1 Certification as a prerequisite before enrolling in the ASE Auto Technician Apprenticeship program.

 
ASE Certification
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is a professional certification group that certifies professionals and shops in the automotive repair and service industry in the United States and parts of Canada. ASE Certification is widely recognized as a mark of a technician’s expertise, professionalism, and commitment to the automotive service industry.
 
RTI Compliance
This program fulfills the Related Technical Instruction (RTI) requirements set by the Delaware Department of Labor (DOL) for apprenticeship. The RTI classes offer systematic instruction designed to provide apprentices with the theoretical and technical knowledge essential to their occupation.

  • Duration: October to April
  • Days: Tuesday and Thursday
  • Time: 6:30 - 9:30 PM
  • Total Hours per Year: 150 Hours
