The Ironworking program is a three-year curriculum designed to prepare learners for a career as skilled ironworkers. This NCCER-certified program covers essential topics, including:
- Ironworking Safety
- Tools
- Welding
- Cranes and Rigging
- Forklifts and Survey Equipment
- Trade Drawings
- Steel Joists and Structural Steel
- Practical Applications of Mathematical Principles on the Job Site
The three-level Ironworking curriculum complies with the U.S. Department of Labor's standards for apprenticeship programs, ensuring that students receive industry-standard training and credentials.
NCCER Certification
The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is recognized by the construction industry as the standard for training, assessment, certification, and career development for construction and maintenance craft professionals. This program's NCCER curriculum ensures that students receive industry-standard education and credentials.
